Pacific Beach – A Community We Love

Articles and issues displayed on this site are a representative sample of the types of alcohol-related crime and safety issues happening in our beach community. Yes, these same issues happen in every city around the world. However, we believe there are unique factors in play in Pacific Beach, including a significant over-concentration of licenses, and are working to address them generally and specifically.

There are also many, many positive stories written about on Pacific Beach for good reason. PB is a fantastic, vibrant community of a diverse group of young and old, home-owners, renters, guests from San Diego and tourists from around the world. Our intent in providing the stories you'll read here are to point out significant alcohol-related issues that need attention as they affect not only how people perceive our community but, more importantly, people’s quality of life.
