Man is jailed on suspicion of DUI
October 12, 2002 No CommentsA 24-year-old man was jailed on suspicion of driving under the influence after two cars collided at Oliver Avenue and Gresham Street in Pacific Beach, trapping one driver inside a vehicle.
San Diego police Lt. Rodney Vandiver said the 24-year-old driver of a Honda Civic ran a stop sign at 5:35 p.m. Saturday, broadsiding a GMC Yukon driven by a 23-year-old man, who had to be extricated from the vehicle and hospitalized.
The driver of the Civic, who was not injured, faces felony charges.
