Hit-And-Run Driver At Large In Pacific Beach
SAN DIEGO — A hit-and-run driver was still at large Saturday after injuring a bicycle rider in Pacific Beach, police said. The accident near Garnet Avenue and Noyes Street was reported at 12:04 a.m., said San Diego police Sgt. Rich Nemetz.
A blue pickup truck was headed south on Morrell Street to westbound Garnet Avenue, and a 26-year-old man on a bike who was riding east along Garnet, Nemetz said. Nemetz said the truck circled the block, then left.
The injured man was taken to a hospital with a compound fracture to his left leg, Nemetz said. The truck was described as a medium size, regular cab with tinted windows.
