Police Arrest Driver for Pinning Woman to I-Beam

A 26-year old woman was seriously injured when a driver backed into her and pinnned her against a beam on the 1200 block of Garnet Avenue Tuesday, May 15, at 1:22 a.m.
The victim had just left the Tavern at the Beach and was leaning against a steel I-beam billboard support when the driver, a 25-year-old female, backed into her. The victim sustained a crushed pelvis and was transported to a local hospital.
The driver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license.
