Skater kids harassing homeless person – dystroying her bike
September 9, 2007 No CommentsWas down on the boardwalk where I came upon a group of skater kids who were badgering a woman I’ve seen around town for some time. I believe she’s homeless and I think she’s a bit mentally disturbed. The two primary antagonist young men, around 18-20 along with about 8 others from 15-18 , were stomping her bicycle, verbally abusing her and picking up their bikes and lunging them at her as if they were going to strike her. A lifeguard and police arrived to restore order. Her bike was messed up pretty good as they stomped on the spokes, bent the wheels, handlebars and sprockets.
