Man stabbed in chest with samurai sword

Two roommates got into a fight Wednesday night in Pacific Beach, and one man stabbed the other with a samurai sword, San Diego police said.

Police said the fight was reported just before midnight on Law Street near Cass Street.

The victim was stabbed in his upper-right chest and was taken to a hospital. He was expected to survive. Police arrested the roommate. Both men are in their 20s, police said.
