Eight Cars Wrecked by Suspected Drunk Driver in Pacific Beach

PACIFIC BEACH – A suspected drunk driver in Pacific Beach crashed through a parking gate and then smashed into eight parked cars Tuesday morning.
It happened shortly after 3 a.m. at the Avalon Apartment Complex at Jewell Street and Fortuna Avenue.
The driver crashed through a parking gate and went out of control inside the parking garage, hitting the cars.
No one was hurt, but eight cars were damaged including a classic Dodge Charger
San Diego Police arrested the driver on suspicion of drunk driving.
