San Diego Beaches have Record Numbers of Visitors
July 23, 2010 No CommentsWe were told San Diego beaches would be dried up – visitors would leave in droves – during the beach alcohol debate and ballot measure. We told of record numbers of tourists and beachgoers when alcohol was removed.
Turns out the latter was spot-on. In 2009 San Diego enjoyed nearly 20% more beach visitors – over 3.8 million more over 2007, the last year with alcohol on the beaches.
We only expect these numbers to improve and invite everyone to come and enjoy the tranquil beaches of San Diego.
