PB Planning Group Approves Submitting Report to City (again)
August 31, 2011 No Comments
The Pacific Beach Planning Group approved by a vote of 11-5 with one abstention, to submit a report their Alcohol License Review Committee (ALRC), conducted over the last two years, to the city. This report concluded that City of San Diego needs to take control over it’s alcohol licensing issues – perceived by many to have been abandoned by the state Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) – and install a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for both on and off-sale licensees (bars, restaurants and liquor stores).
This report has been voted on and approved by two PB Planning Group boards including the sitting board as well as last year’s board.
