Articles and issues displayed on this site are a representative sample of the types of alcohol-related crime and safety issues happening in our beach community. Yes, these same issues happen in every city around the world. However, we believe there are unique factors in play in Pacific Beach, including a significant over-concentration of licenses, and are working to address them generally and specifically.
There are also many, many positive stories written about on Pacific Beach for good reason. PB is a fantastic, vibrant community of a diverse group of young and old, home-owners, renters, guests from San Diego and tourists from around the world. Our intent in providing the stories you'll read here are to point out significant alcohol-related issues that need attention as they affect not only how people perceive our community but, more importantly, people’s quality of life.
PB Shore club expansion is like having another bar in Pacific Beach. Thats all we need.
The bad bar operators are holding the community of PB hostage. Its about time the city’s elected officials took action and protected the residents of Pacific Beach.
If they not then the Pacific Beach residents will be heard in the next few elections.
Unbelievable that a judge would OK more alcohol use in this neighborhood. Why? Does he have a family, children or care what happens to his neighborhood. I’m so diallusioned with these judges!
